Middle Infill Development

At Mezhure (sounds like 'measure'), we focus on middle housing infill development—building thoughtful homes in existing neighborhoods where demand is greatest. Our name reflects both measure—the care, quality, and precision we bring to each project—and mezzanine, a nod to the “missing middle” housing we deliver. We create projects that fit their surroundings, strengthen communities, and provide lasting value for residents and investors alike.

Work

At Mezhure, we focus on middle housing infill development—transforming underutilized lots into well-designed homes that belong in their neighborhoods. By building the “missing middle,” we add thoughtful density that sits comfortably between single-family homes and large apartment buildings. The need is clear: cities across the Pacific Northwest face a shortage of attainable housing. Traditional single-family zoning leaves little room for growth, while large multifamily projects often feel out of scale. Middle housing provides a balanced solution, delivering new homes that respect neighborhood character while strengthening the long-term fabric of our communities. Our name reflects our approach. Mezhure comes from “measure,” a nod to the precision, discipline, and craftsmanship we bring to every stage of development. It also hints at “mezzanine,” or the middle—where our work lives, bridging the gap between single-family and multifamily housing. The result is housing that is both attainable and enduring, projects that create lasting community value while delivering consistent, reliable outcomes for our investors.
